"I am the smoker of the fine Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Torpedo cigar, they are a medium to mild smoke. I buy them at Online Cigar Shop & Golf in Shrub Oaks NY...."

The Griffin's Robusto Maduro has a rich and complex taste that real broadleaf only can give. Try this size in the other two Classic and Fuerte blends to truly inderstand how a great blend translates across these three diffeerent wrappers.
Using only select Connecticut Broadleaf Wrapper, the Griffin's Maduro line demonstrates the classic art of blending. The use of different wrappers with the same binder and filler tobaccos is quite common but the technique requires a mature understanding of the interaction between the two components. When samples are created for different wrappers, each type needs to be rested for varying amounts of time depending on the species of tobacco, region and farm of origin. Understanding these factors can produce a complex and interesting blend or a bland, tasteless 'tobacco tube'. Within the Griffin's line, the Maduro is the second pillar of the triad of blends. The resulting flavor from these blends is magnificent. Equal parts flavor, strength and aroma result in a firm and robust smoke without the aggressive and sometimes bitter, sour taste afflicting many Maduro cigars.
