I started smoking cigars 38 years ago,Hav-a-Tampa's, over the years I naturally graduated to finer smokes.Since most of us can't smoke around our kids,it became my "alone" time, and a serious integral part of my relaxation and concentration while I was doing what I do best. So if anybody thinks its a vice or a habit they are greatly mistaken, it's part of my lifestyle.

My love affair with a fine cigar began in 1966. Already a pipe smoker for 5 years, my quest for perfection in a cigar was focused on a brand that had the the ideal qualities of a a perfect burn, easy draw, consistency, balanced flavor and overall experience--Davidoff became my brand of choice for 30 years, with the Grand Cru and Special R blends--never smoked any other cigar brand or blend since 1982.  It was highlighted by the widest collection of Davidoffs and a rare collection of vintage Davidoff blends, aged to perfection. The Millennium Pyramid then soared to #1 in my small collection. He then introduced me to the AVO brand ("sister" brand of Davidoff). Totally satisfied by almost every suggested "tester", my humidor, previously occupied with only Grand Cru and Special R, now is overflowing with 8 Davidoff blends and 3 AVO blends. Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks! Initially, the retail section shared space with the Smoking Lounge,  more than twice the size of the old lounge with multiple seating areas and even an area of tables, often used by home business members. The lounge is surrounded by 4 big-screen HDTV's and the best feature is the option of solitude for total relaxation or joining a discussion group, ranging in size of 3 to 15 members. The group is highly diverse and the comradery is unsurpassed. I'm partially handicapped in the legs and every member offers to help, even a home pickup and return...Good people, great cigars, perfect environment and a superior merchant.
